Rather predictable result when tenth ranked Scauri (5-6) defeated at home 12th ranked Capo d'Orlando (3-9) 81-65 on Sunday. They outrebounded Capo d'Orlando 39-26 including 30 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of Andrea Longobardi (199-94) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds and naturalized Argentinian point guard Dante Richotti (179-85) who added 13 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was center Enrico Di-Coste (218-95, college: Northwood) with 13 points and 7 rebounds and forward Giovanni Gambarota (190-89) scored 15 points. Capo d'Orlando's coach Giuseppe Condello tested ten players seeing no chance for a win. Scauri moved-up to ninth place in B. Loser Capo d'Orlando keeps the twelfth position with nine games lost. Scauri will face higher ranked Roma S.Azzurra (#5) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
