Another exciting game was between eighth ranked Hainaut and 5th ranked Villeneuve D'Ascq where Hainaut (4-5) won against Villeneuve D'Ascq (5-4) on the road 77-70. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Villeneuve D'Ascq. It was a good game for Senegalese point guard Bintou Dieme-Marizy (164-84) who led her team to a victory with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. American forward Ashley Bruner (183-91, college: S.Carolina, agency: Two Points) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. They share it with Landes and Roche. Hainaut will play against higher ranked Basket Landes (#5) in Mont de Marsan in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Villeneuve D'Ascq will play on the road against the league's second-placed Bourges where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
