Important game to mention about took place in Vicenza. Eighth ranked Vicenza (6-5) saved a 1-point victory at home edging second-best Team Crema (10-2) 48-47 on Sunday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the guest team. It was a good game for swingman Anna Colombo (175-92) who saved her team from a defeat with 22 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Clara Chicchisiola (182-99) contributed with 7 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Power forward Alice Nori (182-93) replied with 8 points and 9 rebounds and guard Francesca Melchiori (174-93, agency: SPORTlab Agency) added 10 points and 5 assists in the effort for Team Crema. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Vicenza moved-up to seventh place in A2. Team Crema at the other side keeps the second position with two games lost. Vicenza will play against Varese (#16) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Team Crema will play against Albino (#14) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
