The game without a history. Gimle Pride led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Sandvika to just 7 points in fourth quarter. Gimle Pride dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to Sandvika's 22. Gimle Pride forced 23 Sandvika turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Sigrid Hardie (164-94) who helped to win the game recording 27 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Karoline Falch-Monsen (169-98) contributed with 20 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. International forward Severine Uggen (183-99) answered with 18 points and 8 rebounds and American guard Makala Roper (173-96, college: UCSB) added 16 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Sandvika. Sandvika's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Gimle Pride maintains second place with 8-2 record having six points less than leader Ullern. Sandvika at the other side keeps the fifth position with seven games lost. They share it with Bergen. Gimle Pride will play against Asker (#4) in Rykkinn in the next round. Sandvika will play on the road against Storm Ungdom in Tromso and hopes to get back on the winning track.
