The game between second ranked Entente Orleans 45 (7-3) and 14th ranked Poitiers (4-6) in Orleans on Tuesday ended with biggest points difference. Entente Orleans 45 outscored guests from Poitiers 111-85. Entente Orleans 45 made 22-of-26 free shots (84.6 percent) during the game. Entente Orleans 45 outrebounded Poitiers 35-24 including 25 on the defensive glass. They shot the lights out from three sinking 17 long-distance shots on high 58.6 percentage. Entente Orleans 45 looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Bosnian forward Miralem Halilovic (205-91, agency: PEPI SPORT) notched 15 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and Nigerian-American forward Michael Fakuade (201-89, college: Ill.-Springfield) supported him with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Even 29 points (made all of his nine free throws !!!) by British V.Islands forward Norville Carey (200-93, college: Rider) did not help to save the game for Poitiers. Kevin Harley (196-94) added 14 points and 4 assists for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Entente Orleans 45 maintains second position with 7-3 record behind leader Roanne, which they share with 3 other teams. Poitiers lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the thirteenth place with six games lost. Entente Orleans 45 will meet league's leader Chorale de Roanne on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Poitiers will play against Saint Chamond (#4) and hope to secure a win.
