Regular Season Round 12: RCOP Tsmoki - COR-Borisfen 61-90

No shocking result in a game when third ranked COR-Borisfen (11-2) crushed bottom-ranked RCOP Tsmoki (1-12) in Minsk 90-61. The game was mostly controlled by COR-Borisfen. RCOP Tsmoki was better in third quarter 14-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. COR-Borisfen dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to RCOP Tsmoki's 38. COR-Borisfen forced 28 RCOP Tsmoki turnovers. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Artem Malkov (190-88) who scored 22 points and 5 assists. International guard Siarhei Tatur (194-91) chipped in 19 points. RCOP Tsmoki's coach Aleksandr Poderachev gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. COR-Borisfen have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 11-2 record having just two points less than leader Tsmoki-Minsk. RCOP Tsmoki lost ninth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 12 games lost. COR-Borisfen's next round opponent will be Rubon (#4) in Vitebsk. RCOP Tsmoki will play at home against the league's second-placed Grodno-93 (#2) and hope to win that game.
