Regular Season Round 6: Dinamo Tbilisi - Olimpi 80-79

The most exciting game of round 6 in the Superleague took place in Tbilisi. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of one of their biggest challengers Olimpi (3-3) to fourth ranked Dinamo Tbilisi (4-2) 80-79 on Thursday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Olimpi. The hosts trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 24-16 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Defending champion moved-up to third place. Olimpi at the other side dropped to the fifth position with three games lost. They share it with Mgzavrebi. Dinamo Tbilisi are looking forward to face Batumi (#8) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Olimpi will play against the league's leader Kutaisi and is hoping to win this game.
