19th ranked Gold Lions (4-18) were outscored at home by seventh ranked Xinjiang Flying Tige (14-7) with the biggest margin this round 154-100. Xinjiang Flying Tige dominated down low during the game scoring 104 of its points in the paint compared to Gold Lions' 44 and made 17-of-18 charity shots (94.4 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Gold Lions 49-19 including a 35-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Xinjiang Flying Tige especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. Guard DeShuai Shi (192-92) answered with 18 points and 9 rebounds and guard RongPei Li (186) added 18 points and 6 assists in the effort for Gold Lions. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Xinjiang Flying Tige. They moved-up to sixth place. Gold Lions lost their tenth game in a row. They dropped to the bottom position with 18 games lost. Xinjiang Flying Tige's next round opponent will be Eagles (#16) in Qingdao and are hoping to win another game.
