We should mention about the upset which took place in Vigarano, where higher ranked San Martino (6-5) lost to ninth ranked Vigarano (4-7) in a road game 53-61 on Saturday. Vigarano forced 21 San Martino turnovers. It was a great evening for American guard Feyonda Fitzgerald (170-95, college: Temple, agency: LBM Management) who led her team to a victory scoring 17 points and 6 assists. Slovakian forward Michaela Rakova (190-94, college: USF) helped adding 8 points and 12 rebounds. International power forward Jasmine Keys (190-97) responded with 18 points and 8 rebounds and American swingman Tyaunna Marshall (175-92, college: Georgia Tech) scored 19 points and 5 steals. Vigarano moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Sesto SG. San Martino lost their third game in a row. They keep the fifth position with five games lost. They share it with Lucca and Napoli. Vigarano will meet at home Torino (#11) in the next round. San Martino will play against Napoli (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
