The game between Top Four teams took place in Kanagawa. Second ranked host Toshiba Thunders (14-12) defeated 3rd placed Diamond Dolphins (16-10) 101-91. They outrebounded Diamond Dolphins 45-29 including 34 on the defensive glass. Toshiba Thunders looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. International power forward Nick Fazekas (211-85, college: Nevada) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 19 rebounds for the winners and the former international point guard Yuma Fujii (178-91) chipped in 23 points and 9 assists. Five Toshiba Thunders players scored in double figures. At the losing side American Markeith Cummings (198-88, college: Kennesaw St.) responded with 26 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and the other American import Craig Brackins (208-87, college: Iowa St.) produced a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Toshiba Thunders. Despite that victory Toshiba Thunders went down to third position due to points difference. Loser Diamond Dolphins dropped to the second place with ten games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
