Not a big story in a game when 13th ranked Bielsko-Biala (3-11) was outplayed on the road by second ranked Polonia Bytom (11-3) 113-53 on Saturday. Polonia Bytom forced 19 Bielsko-Biala turnovers and outrebounded them 52-33 including a 33-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Polonia Bytom looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Bielsko-Biala's players. Bielsko-Biala was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was forward Jakub Pawlak (198-93) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds. Swingman Norbert Kujon (194-92) chipped in 23 points. Forward Piotr Karnia (190-87) produced 11 points and 8 rebounds and guard Grzegorz Szybowicz (187-86) added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Polonia Bytom maintains second position in Group C with 11-3 record having just two points less than leader Zubry. Loser Bielsko-Biala keeps the thirteenth place with 11 games lost. Polonia Bytom will face AZS PCz (#7) in Czestochowa in the next round where they are favorite. Bielsko-Biala will play on the road against MCKiS Jaworz. (#6) in Jaworzno and hope to win that game.
