An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Urumqi. Second ranked Vermilion Birds faced 4th ranked Magic Deer. Guests from Dongguan (23-1) defeated host Magic Deer (18-6) 72-58. It ended at the same time the 11-game winning streak of Magic Deer. It was a good game for international center Yueru Li (192-99) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 15 rebounds. International Sijing Huang (192-96) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Vermilion Birds' coach Yaosen Lin allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Center Xu Han (206) replied with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds and international Lili Wang (170-92) added 14 points and 6 assists in the effort for Magic Deer. Vermilion Birds have an impressive 18-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Bayi. Magic Deer at the other side keeps the fourth place with six games lost. They share the position with Beijing. Vermilion Birds will play against Sports Lottery (#7) in Penglai in the next round where they are favorite. Magic Deer will play on the road against the league's second-placed Bayi Kylin in Nanchang and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
