There was no surprise when 11th ranked Przemysl (5-9) was crushed on the road by sixth ranked Tarnowskie Gory (8-6) 102-54 on Saturday. Tarnowskie Gory shot 65.5 percent from the field. Tarnowskie Gory outrebounded Przemysl 47-22 including a 40-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 2 passes made by Przemysl's players. The best player for the winners was forward Grzegorz Zadecki (195-84) who scored 18 points and 7 assists. Center Michal Nikiel (205-83) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. Five Tarnowskie Gory players scored in double figures. Forward Kacper Walciszewski (199-0) produced 16 points and 8 rebounds and Pawel Strzepek (190-0) added 13 points respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tarnowskie Gory moved-up to fifth place in Group C, which they share with MCKiS Jaworz. Przemysl lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth position with nine games lost. Tarnowskie Gory will face league's leader AZS AWF Mick. in Katowice in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Przemysl will play at home against Dobrodzien (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
