Regular Season Round 14: Fos-sur-Mer - Antibes 68-87

No shocking result in a game when sixteenth ranked Antibes (3-11) smashed on the road bottom-ranked Fos-sur-Mer (2-13) 87-68. Antibes forced 29 Fos-sur-Mer turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Guard Vincent Amsellem (185-2) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points and 6 assists. Shawn Tanner (193-1) contributed with 21 points for the winners. Swingman Allan Dokossi (203-99) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and guard Nadjib Benhamza (190-98) added 15 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Fos-sur-Mer. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Antibes moved-up to fifteenth place, which they share with Le Portel. Newly promoted Fos-sur-Mer stay at the bottom position with 13 games lost. Antibes will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Fos-sur-Mer will play on the road against Le Mans (#13) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
