Thirteenth-ranked Tarnovia (2-11) made lots of trouble for second ranked Notec Inowr. (11-2) in Tarnowo Podgorne on Saturday. The visitors from Inowroclaw managed to secure only two-point victory 84-82. However their fans expected much easier game. Notec Inowr. looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. 26 personal fouls committed by Tarnovia helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was point guard Aleksander Filipiak (185-90) who had a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 assists. Center Wojciech Zurawski (202-76) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Milosz Sroczynski (195-90) produced 20 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Pawel Mowlik (185-89) added 15 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Notec Inowr. have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain second position in Group A with 11-2 record having just three points less than leader Zubry. Tarnovia lost ninth consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth place with 11 games lost. Notec Inowr. are looking forward to face Pelplin (#3) in Pelpin in the next round, which may be the game of the day.
