Regular Season Round 15: Polfarmex Kutno - Pruszkow 82-87

There was a surprise result in Kutno where fourteenth ranked Pruszkow (6-9) beat higher ranked Polfarmex (6-9) 87-82. Pruszkow shot the lights out from three nailing 13 long-distance shots on high 56.5 percentage. It was an exceptional evening for power forward Mateusz Szwed (198-91) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds. Swingman Karol Kaminski (193-97) accounted for 20 points for the winning side. Power forward Michal Marek (208-96) came up with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 5 blocks and point guard Patryk Gospodarek (184-94, agency: Octagon Europe) added 15 points and 6 assists respectively for Polfarmex in the defeat. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Pruszkow moved-up to ninth place, which they share with 5 other teams including defeated Polfarmex. Pruszkow's next round opponent will be higher ranked Polonia Leszno (#3) at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
