Rather predictable result in Andrezieux where tenth ranked ALS Basket (6-10) defeated 12th ranked Aubenas (4-12) 87-72 on Saturday. They outrebounded Aubenas 43-24 including a 31-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Aubenas was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Turkish center Mutlu Demir (210-87) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Kamel Ammour (203-91, agency: Octagon Europe) who added 17 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American forward Gregg Thondique (201-87, college: Virginia Union, agency: Interperformances) responded with 16 points and 6 rebounds and center Gaylor Lobela-Nkuna (206-95, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 15 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Aubenas' coach Marc Namura rotated ten players and allowed the starting five to rest.
