The game had a very big importance for third-ranked Team Crema as it allowed them to take a leadership position in A2. Team Crema smashed 14th ranked Albino at home 87-58. Team Crema had a 18-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Power forward Alice Nori (182-93) stepped up and scored 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and guard Francesca Melchiori (174-93, agency: SPORTlab Agency) chipped in 14 points, 5 assists and 5 steals. Team Crema's coach Diego Sguaizer felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side forward Ilaria Bonvecchio (175-94) responded with 18 points and guard Federica Iannucci (172-93) scored 11 points and 7 rebounds. As mentioned above they took over a top position.
