We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 5th ranked Varese Robur (8-4) was outplayed on the road by sixth ranked Piombino (9-4) 85-58 on Sunday. Piombino made 17-of-18 free shots (94.4 percent) during the game. Point guard Alessandro Procacci (184-94) fired 17 points and 5 assists for the winners. Francesco Fratto (200-91) chipped in 13 points and 9 rebounds. Five Piombino players scored in double figures. Forward Marco Planezio (198-91) produced 18 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Simone Ferrarese (184-87) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side.
