Lithuanian point guard Titas Janusevicius (188-1) scored 32 points to lead the charge for the winners and center Javier Prieto (203-90) chipped in 12 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Estudiantes L.'s coach Gustavo Soares allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Canadian forward Ryan Ejim (201-93, college: Carleton) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 15 rebounds and American power forward Malik Wineglass (203-93, college: Harris-Stowe St.) scored 16 points and 9 rebounds.
