Regular Season Round 26: Shinshu BW - Nishinomiya S. 66-68

Top ranked Shinshu BW (22-4) recorded its fourth loss in Nagano on Sunday night. Hosts were edged by third ranked Nishinomiya S. (11-15) 68-66. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Shinshu BW. The best player for the winners was American center Brad Waldow (208-91, college: St.Mary's, CA, agency: Octagon Europe) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists. Point guard Noriaki Dohara (178-89) chipped in 16 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Kaito Ishikawa (188-90) produced 22 points and 7 assists and American Anthony McHenry (202-83, college: Georgia Tech) added 12 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Nishinomiya S. maintains third position with 11-15 record having eleven points less than leader Kumamoto V. Shinshu BW at the other side still keeps top place with four games lost. Nishinomiya S. are looking forward to face Kanazawa Sam. (#5) in Ishikawa in the next round. Shinshu BW will play at home against Yamagata (#5) and is hoping to win this game.
