There was a minor upset when higher ranked VL Pesaro (4-7) was defeated at home by thirteenth ranked Dolomiti En. TR (4-7) 77-65 on Sunday. Dolomiti En. TR forced 20 VL Pesaro turnovers. The best player for the winners was American point guard Aaron Craft (188-91, college: Ohio St.) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. International power forward Davide Pascolo (201-90) chipped in 10 points and 8 rebounds. Lithuanian center Egidijus Mockevicius (208-92, college: Evansville) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 19 rebounds and American forward Erik McCree (203-93, college: Louisiana Tech, agency: Pensack Sports) added 17 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Dolomiti En. TR moved-up to tenth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated VL Pesaro. VL Pesaro lost third consecutive game. Dolomiti En. TR will meet bottom-ranked Pistoia Basket (#16) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game.
