An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Tokyo. Third ranked Dragonflies faced 4th ranked Tokyo Z. Guests from Hiroshima (18-8) defeated host Tokyo Z (10-16) 85-69. Dragonflies looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American power forward Jamari Traylor (203-92, college: Kansas) had a double-double by scoring 27 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import center Eric Thompson (204-93, college: Pacific) chipped in 23 points and 13 rebounds during the contest. South Sudanese forward Mogga Lado (201-95, college: Campbell) responded with 20 points and 8 rebounds and American forward Deangelo Kirkland (203-89, college: Columbus St., agency: Interperformances) scored 14 points. Four Dragonflies and five Tokyo Z players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dragonflies keep a position of league leader, which they share with 4 other teams. Tokyo Z lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with 16 games lost. Dragonflies will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Tokyo Z will play against the league's second-placed Toyotsu FE (#2) in Nagoya and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
