Rather predictable result when sixth ranked Viola RC (9-4) edged on the road 10th ranked Cuore Napoli (5-8) 78-75 on Sunday. Strangely Cuore Napoli outrebounded Viola RC 35-19 including 26 on the defensive glass. It was a great shooting night for Viola RC especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. Cuore Napoli was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Tommaso Carnovali (197-93) fired 18 points for the winners. Guard Vittorio Nobile (192-95) chipped in 14 points. Four Viola RC players scored in double figures. Naturalized Serbian swingman Nemanja Dincic (203-98) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 15 rebounds and Tommaso Milani (190-88, agency: Octagon Europe) added 13 points respectively for lost side. Viola RC moved-up to fourth place in B. Loser Cuore Napoli keeps the tenth position with eight games lost. Viola RC will face Roma S.Azzurra (#6) at home in the next round. Cuore Napoli will play against Scauri (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
