Everything went according to plan when leader San Severo (13-0) outleveled at home 10th ranked Corato (6-7) 88-55 on Sunday. They outrebounded Corato 37-23 including 30 on the defensive glass. San Severo looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Corato's players. Naturalized Argentinian point guard Nicolas Stanic (180-84, agency: Players Group) fired 18 points and 7 assists for the winners. Forward Emidio Di-Donato (198-92) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Point guard Mauro Stella (190-84, agency: Players Group) produced 16 points and 9 assists and center Leonardo Marini (205-95) added 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. San Severo maintains first place in B with 13-0 record. Newly promoted Corato dropped to the eleventh position with seven games lost. San Severo will face Chieti (#5) on the road in the next round.
