We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 6th ranked Civitanova (7-6) was defeated on the road by seventh ranked Senigallia (7-4) 72-58 on Sunday. Guard Giacomo Gurini (192-84) fired 22 points for the winners. Guard Marco Giacomini (182-94) chipped in 14 points and 9 rebounds. Four Senigallia players scored in double figures. Forward Riccardo Coviello (195-88) produced 14 points and 8 rebounds and forward Marco Vallasciani (195-94) added 10 points and 12 rebounds respectively for lost side. Senigallia moved-up to fourth place in B. Loser Civitanova dropped to the eighth position with six games lost. Senigallia will face higher ranked Fabriano (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Civitanova will play against Giulianova (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
