There was no surprise in Yingkou where 12th ranked Golden Stars (10-14) were defeated by second ranked Flying Leopards (20-4) 102-84 on Tuesday. Flying Leopards made 27-of-33 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. Flying Leopards outrebounded Golden Stars 59-44 including a 47-31 advantage in defensive rebounds. Golden Stars were plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. The former international Ailun Guo (192-93) fired a double-double by scoring 25 points, 9 rebounds, 11 assists and 4 steals for the winners. American forward Brandon Bass (203-85, college: LSU, agency: IPZ) chipped in a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Five Flying Leopards players scored in double figures.
