Regular Season Round 25: Xinjiang FT - Jiangsu D. 101-99

Tenth-ranked Jiangsu Dragons (11-13) made lots of trouble for sixth ranked Xinjiang Flying Tige (16-7) in Urumqi. Xinjiang Flying Tige managed to secure only two-point victory 101-99. However their fans expected much easier game. Xinjiang Flying Tige outrebounded Jiangsu Dragons 51-36 including a 40-29 advantage in defensive rebounds. American-Bulgarian point guard Darius Adams (188-89, college: Indianapolis, agency: IPZ) nailed 38 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side and Iranian center Hamed Haddadi (218-85) accounted for 7 points and 19 rebounds. Forward Yifan Hou (196-92) came up with 27 points and 9 rebounds and American guard Donald Sloan (190-88, college: Texas A&M) added 21 points and 7 assists respectively for Jiangsu Dragons in the defeat. Four Xinjiang Flying Tige and five Jiangsu Dragons players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for Xinjiang Flying Tige. They maintain sixth place with 16-7 record. Jiangsu Dragons lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the tenth position with 13 games lost. Xinjiang Flying Tige's next round opponent will be Monkey Kings (#14) in Jiangsu and are hoping to win another game. Jiangsu Dragons will play on the road against Eagles (#17) in Qingdao and hope to win that game.
