Very important is a home loss of second ranked Bayi Kylin (23-2) against fourth ranked Magic Deer (19-6) on Tuesday night. Host Bayi Kylin was defeated by Magic Deer in a tough game in Nanchang 77-83. It ended at the same time the ten-game winning streak of Bayi Kylin. Magic Deer made 28-of-35 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game, while Bayi Kylin only scored eight points from the stripe. Bayi Kylin was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. International Lili Wang (170-92) stepped up with a triple-double by scoring 32 points, 15 rebounds, 10 assists and 5 steals (made all of her twelve free throws !!!) for the winners and center Xu Han (206) chipped in 21 points and 9 rebounds. At the losing side international Mengran Sun (197-92) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists and international Meng Li (185-95) scored 13 points and 6 assists. Four Bayi Kylin players scored in double figures. Bayi Kylin's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Magic Deer have an impressive series of twelve victories in a row. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Jiangsu and Beijing. Bayi Kylin at the other side keeps the second position with two games lost. Magic Deer will play against Fujian Nanan (#15) in Putian in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Bayi Kylin will play on the road against the league's leader Vermilion Birds (#1) in Dongguan and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
