Regular Season Round 10: Sitra - Al-Hala 59-92

The biggest surprise of round 10 was guest Al-Hala's (4-5) easy road victory over Sitra (#8) 92-59 on Wednesday evening. They outrebounded Sitra 53-26 including a 18-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Al-Hala looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Thailand power forward Jalen Robinson (206-93, college: Dalton St.) fired a double-double by scoring 24 points, 22 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 blocks for the winners. Hussain Salman chipped in 17 points and 8 assists. Four Al-Hala players scored in double figures. Iraqi Ali Abdulla produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and Mohayyad Ameer added 12 points respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Al-Hala moved-up to sixth place. Sitra at the other side dropped to the ninth position with six games lost. They share it with Isa Town. Al-Hala are looking forward to face Bahrain Youth (#11) in Manama in the next round where they are favorite. Sitra will play on the road against Al-Bahrain in Manama and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
