Leader HyPo delivered the eleventh victory. This time they beat 8th ranked ViVe (5-9) 83-68 in Hyvinkaa. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of ViVe. ViVe was ahead by 3 points at the halftime before a 48-30 second half run of HyPo. American guard Randi Brown (170-96, college: New Orleans) orchestrated the victory by scoring 33 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international center Taru Tuukkanen (192-77, college: Xavier) contributed with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. American forward Alisia Jenkins (186-94, college: S.Florida) replied with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 19 rebounds and her fellow American import swingman Donnaizha Fountain (183-95, college: Seton Hall, agency: Gamble Sports Management) added 17 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for ViVe. HyPo maintains first position with 11-3 record. ViVe at the other side keeps the eighth place with nine games lost. HyPo will play against Tapiolan Honka (#7) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. ViVe will play against Catz Lappeenranta and hopes to get back on the winning track.
