Regular Season Round 12: Nantes - Poitiers 79-89

We should mention about the upset which took place in Nantes, where 10th ranked Nantes (6-6) lost at home to thirteenth ranked Poitiers (5-7) 79-89 on Thursday. Poitiers made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was Kevin Harley (196-94) who scored 17 points and 8 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Pierre-Yves Guillard (203-84) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds. Four Poitiers players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard Dee Davis (178-93, college: Xavier, agency: Inception Sports) who recorded 18 points and 7 assists and American-British center Laurence Ekperigin (200-88, college: LeMoyne) added 22 points (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) respectively. Nantes' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Poitiers moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Blois. Loser Nantes dropped to the seventh position with six games lost. Poitiers will face higher ranked SPO Rouen (#9) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
