Regular Season Round 18: Jamtland - Umea 118-85

Fifth ranked KFUM Jamtland (13-7) crushed at home 8th ranked Umea (5-14) by 33 points 118-85, which is the biggest margin this round on Friday night. The game was mostly controlled by KFUM Jamtland. Umea managed to win second period 28-25. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. KFUM Jamtland shot 65.1 percent from the field and made 26-of-30 free shots (86.7 percent) during the game. KFUM Jamtland outrebounded Umea 37-24 including a 29-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Andre Hollins (188-92, college: Minnesota) who recorded 19 points and 4 steals and center Andre Nilsson (209-90) added 14 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. KFUM Jamtland moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Boras. Umea lost tenth consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 14 games lost. KFUM Jamtland will meet Wetterbygden (#7) in the next round. Umea will play against Boras Basket and hope to secure a win.
