Regular Season Round 12: King - Asseco Arka 94-105
Date: December 28, 2018
No shocking result in a game when second ranked Asseco Arka (10-2) beat 9th ranked Wilki Morskie (5-7) in Szczecin 105-94 on Friday. Asseco Arka shot the lights out from three sinking 21 long-distance shots on high 53.8 percentage. The winners were led by American point guard James Florence (185-88, college: Mercer) who scored that evening 35 points (!!!) and 4 assists and Lithuanian Deividas Dulkys (195-88, college: Florida St.) supported him with 15 points. Four Asseco Arka players scored in double figures. Asseco Arka's coach Przemyslaw Frasunkiewicz used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 23 points and 4 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) by the former international swingman Pawel Kikowski (193-86) did not help to save the game for Wilki Morskie. Lithuanian center Martynas Sajus (208-96) added 18 points and 11 rebounds. Asseco Arka have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 10-2 record behind leader Stelmet Enea. Wilki Morskie lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with seven games lost. They share the position with TBV Start. Asseco Arka will meet bottom-ranked Trefl (#16) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Wilki Morskie will play against AZS Koszalin (#14) and hope to secure a win.
