Not a big story in a game when 9th ranked Maquinaria Ensino (4-8) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked Valencia (8-4) 72-56. Valencia dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Maquinaria Ensino's 26. They outrebounded Maquinaria Ensino 39-28 including 29 on the defensive glass. Valencia players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The winners were led by the former international power forward Maria Pina (187-87) who scored that evening 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Anna Gomez (181-86, agency: ProDep Management) supported her with 8 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists.
