Very expected game in Zaragoza where 10th ranked Mann Filter (4-8) was crushed by second ranked Perfumerias Avenida (11-1) 73-52. Perfumerias Avenida outrebounded Mann Filter 36-25 including 27 on the defensive glass. It was a great shooting night for Perfumerias Avenida especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. The winners were led by Montenegrin-American forward Angelica Robinson (197-87, college: Georgia, agency: ProDep Management) who scored that evening 15 points and the former international point guard Maria Asurmendi (168-86) supported her with 12 points. Even 18 points and 9 rebounds by American guard Brittany Brown (173-95, college: Florida St., agency: ProDep Management) did not help to save the game for Mann Filter. Canadian center Quinn Urbaniak-Dornstauder (193-95, college: Arizona St.) added 12 points. Perfumerias Avenida have an impressive 11-game winning streak. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Girona. Mann Filter at the other side dropped to the ninth place with eight games lost. They share the position with Ensino. Perfumerias Avenida will play against Sant Adria (#12) at home in the next round which should be another easy win for them.
