Everything went according to plan in Nanjing where third ranked Jiangsu Phoenix (20-6) beat 6th ranked Flame (16-10) 82-77. Jiangsu Phoenix players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Center Chenyan Xu (199) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds. International guard Xiaojia Chen (177-88) contributed with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 assists and 5 steals for the winners. The former international center Wei Wei (206-89) replied with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and point guard Tongtong Wu (176) added 18 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists in the effort for Flame.
