Regular Season Round 15: L'Hospitalet - Girona Basquet 75-77

A very interesting game took place in Hospitalet. It ended with only two-point home defeat of 7th ranked L'Hospitalet (6-9) to fifth ranked Girona Basquet (10-5) 77-75 on Saturday evening. The best player for the winners was point guard Xavier Costa (192-84) who scored 11 points and 4 assists. Forward Jordi Trias (208-80) chipped in 6 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Georgian center Shota Gelazonia (205-94) who recorded 25 points and guard Edgar San-Epifanio (196-87) added 15 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists respectively. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Newly promoted Girona Basquet maintains fifth place in Silver with 10-5 record. L'Hospitalet at the other side keeps the seventh position with nine games lost. Girona Basquet's next round opponent will be Moron (#8) in Morón de la Frontera. L'Hospitalet will play on the road against Menorca in Mahon and hope to win that game.
