The game between Top Four teams took place in Kanagawa. Third ranked host Toshiba Thunders (17-12) smashed 4th ranked Aishin Sea Horses (14-15) 93-67. Toshiba Thunders had a 30-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Aishin Sea Horses' players. It was a very good performance for international power forward Nick Fazekas (211-85, college: Nevada) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 32 points, 20 rebounds and 7 assists. American power forward Vernon Macklin (208-86, college: Florida) contributed with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) for the winners. Four Toshiba Thunders players scored in double figures. American forward Kennedy Meeks (208-95, college: N.Carolina) replied with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 18 rebounds and his fellow American import forward James Southerland (203-90, college: Syracuse) added 19 points and 4 assists in the effort for Aishin Sea Horses. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Toshiba Thunders have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. Aishin Sea Horses at the other side keep the fourth position with 15 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
