The game had a very big importance for third-ranked Zamorano as it allowed them to take a leadership position in Silver. Zamorano defeated second-best Marin at home 70-65. It was a key game for the top position in Silver. Zamorano had a 15-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for French point guard Sango Niang (183-93, college: Simon Fraser) who led his team to a victory scoring 15 points and 5 assists. American guard Micheal Warren (196-95, college: CS Northridge) helped adding 15 points and 6 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Argentinian guard Juan-Martin Orellano (190-89) with 14 points and 5 assists and American guard Jordan Gregory (188-92, college: Montana) scored 13 points and 6 rebounds. As mentioned above they took over a top position. Newly promoted Marin dropped to the third place with six games lost. Marin will play next round against Fontedoso Carrefour trying to get back on the winning streak. Zamorano will try to continue on its current victory against second ranked Zornotza at Amorebieta-Echano.
