Rather expected game when 9th ranked Lucenec (1-16) was defeated at home by seventh ranked Rieker KN (7-10) 86-76. It was an exceptional evening for Croatian power forward Nenad Delic (210-84) who led the winners and scored 30 points and 6 rebounds (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field). American guard Liam O'Reilly (188, college: Gardner-Webb) accounted for 17 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side. American forward Duke Shelton (208-95, college: Tampa) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and the other American import point guard Ike Agusi (180-95, college: Queens, NC) added 18 points and 5 assists respectively for Lucenec in the defeat. Rieker KN moved-up to sixth place. Lucenec lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom position with 16 games lost. Rieker KN will play against higher ranked Iskra Svit (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Lucenec will play against the league's second-placed Levice (#2) to get more than just one victory in their record.
