LBL top team - Al Riyadi (6-1) added another victory to their record. This time they beat ninth ranked Sagesse (1-6) in Beirut 73-68. The best player for the winners was American guard Mark Lyons (185-89, college: Arizona, agency: Higher Vision Sports) who scored 23 points. Naturalized Egyptian power forward Ahmad Ismail (205-76) chipped in 10 points and 5 assists. Canadian power forward Keanau Post (211-92, college: Missouri) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds and Aziz Abdel-Massih added 16 points respectively for the hosts. Sagesse's coach Ghassan Sarkis rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Al Riyadi maintains first position with 6-1 record, which they share with Homentmen. Sagesse lost fifth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with six games lost. Al Riyadi's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Beirut Homentmen.
