An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Aguascalientes. Third ranked Lenadores faced 4th placed Panteras. Guests from (13-9) defeated host Panteras (12-12) 103-99. They outrebounded Panteras 40-28 including 26 on the defensive glass. Lenadores players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Puerto Rican Javier Mojica (190-84, college: Cent.Conn.St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists. American-Lebanese power forward Jarrid Famous (209-88, college: S.Florida) contributed with 27 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. American center Benjamin Puckett (205-83, college: Clayton St.) answered with 23 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and the other American import guard Hameed Ali (188-93, college: Texas A&M-CC) added 21 points and 11 assists in the effort for Panteras. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Lenadores have a solid series of four victories in a row. Newly promoted Lenadores maintains third place with 13-9 record having just three points less than leader Mineros, which they share with Aaguacateros. Panteras lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with 12 games lost. They share it with Correcaminos. Lenadores will play against Abejas (#5) in Guanajuato in the next round. Panteras will play on the road against Correcaminos in Ciudad Victoria and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
