It was a great evening for Serbian forward Nikola Gacesa (206-87, college: TCU) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. American forward Steven Davis (203-93, college: Wright St.) helped adding 15 points and 9 rebounds. Five Levice players scored in double figures. At the losing side American point guard K.C. Ross-Miller (183-91, college: Auburn) responded with 23 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and international center Michal Cekovsky (211-94, college: Maryland, agency: Octagon Europe) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. Defending champion maintains second place with 13-4 record having just one point less than leader Inter Bratislava. Handlova lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 12 games lost. Levice are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Lucenec (#9) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Handlova will play against the league's leader Inter Bratislava and is hoping to prove to their supporters that they can break losing series.
