Everything went according to plan when fourth ranked Osaka Evessa (12-16) beat at home 6th ranked Shiga L-Stars (6-22) 76-71 on Saturday. Osaka Evessa looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Josh Harrellson (208-89, college: Kentucky) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 20 rebounds and the former international forward Naoya Kumagae (194-90) who added 26 points during the contest. At the losing side American-Israeli center DOr Fischer (211-81, college: W.Virginia) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 15 rebounds and American forward Marqus Blakely (201-88, college: Vermont) scored 21 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 7 steals. Shiga L-Stars' coach Shawn Dennis tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Osaka Evessa maintains fourth position with 12-16 record. Shiga L-Stars lost ninth consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 22 games lost. Osaka Evessa will face again Shiga L-Stars (#6) at home in the next round.
