Very predictable result when third ranked Gernika (10-3) beat at home 10th ranked Mann Filter (4-9) 73-57 on Sunday. Puerto Rican-American guard Jazmon Gwathmey (188-93, college: JMU) stepped up and scored 21 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and Ukrainian center Valeriya Berezhynska (193-86, college: Rice, agency: ProDep Management) chipped in 14 points and 12 rebounds. At the losing side American guard Brittany Brown (173-95, college: Florida St., agency: ProDep Management) responded with 8 points and 9 rebounds and the former international forward Vega Gimeno (185-91, college: Robert Morris, agency: ProDep Management) scored 14 points.
