Regular Season Round 28: Bambitious Nara - Fukushima 86-78

There was a small surprise when sixth ranked Bambitious Nara (8-19) defeated at home one of their biggest challengers Fukushima (13-15) 86-78 on Sunday. Bambitious Nara made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. Bambitious Nara outrebounded Fukushima 39-28 including 29 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Jeffrey Parmer (203-85, college: Florida Atlantic) who helped to win the game recording 35 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import power forward Gary Hamilton (208-84, college: Miami, FL, agency: Inception Sports) who added 13 points, 17 rebounds and 9 assists during the contest. Bambitious Nara's coach Haruyuki Ishibashi allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side Vincentian power forward Nyika Williams (203-87, college: Pacific) responded with 27 points and 9 rebounds and American power forward Evan Ravenel (204-89, college: Ohio St.) scored 16 points and 8 rebounds. Four Fukushima players scored in double figures. Bambitious Nara moved-up to fifth place. Loser Fukushima keeps the fourth position with 15 games lost. Bambitious Nara will face league's second-placed Toyotsu FE in Nagoya in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Fukushima will play at home against the league's leader Gunma and hope to win that game.
