Everything went according to plan when seventh ranked Roma Luiss (9-5) outleveled on the road bottom-ranked Battipaglia (0-14) 97-66 on Sunday. Roma Luiss dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Battipaglia's 34. Roma Luiss forced 21 Battipaglia turnovers and outrebounded them 50-27 including a 19-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Roma Luiss looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. The best player for the winners was swingman Antongiulio Bonaccorso (197-97) who scored 21 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field).
