No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Azpeitia ISB (8-7) edged on the road 11th ranked Gijon (4-11) 58-57 on Sunday. It was a good game for Xabier Beraza (195-99) who saved his team from a defeat with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds. Gijon's coach Nacho Galan let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Azpeitia ISB maintains seventh place in Silver with 8-7 record. Newly promoted Gijon keeps the eleventh position with 11 games lost. Azpeitia ISB will face higher ranked Cocinas.com (#6) in Logrono in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
