Rather predictable result in Findon where fifth ranked Adelaide 36ers (9-8) defeated 7th ranked New Zealand Breakers (6-9) 109-98 on Sunday. Adelaide 36ers made 36-of-44 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game, while New Zealand Breakers only scored seventeen points from the stripe. They outrebounded New Zealand Breakers 51-24 including a 38-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Adelaide 36ers looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was international guard Nathan Sobey (190-90, college: Wyoming) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). The former international power forward Daniel Johnson (212-88, college: Pepperdine) chipped in 28 points and 7 rebounds.
